The Copley Square Hotel Sold

Since beginning operations in 1981, The Copley Square Hotel is one of Boston’s oldest hotels.  According to Suffolk County land records, this historic property has recently sold for a whopping $66M.  Being located in the heart of Back Bay, this 143-room hotel is definitely a piece of property worth looking at.  Buyers knew this as interest was very competitive, according to listing brokerage JLL Managing Director Denny Meiklham.  Hawkins Way Capital beat out all other competition with their $66M offer and purchase.  Back Bay area has been a hot spot for recent hotel development, so it is no wonder why buyers flocked to this opportunity.
